Since 1952, Our Lady of Victory School has provided an excellent Catholic education with rigorous academics, to ensure preparation for high school and beyond, for students in this region of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
OLV is a coed PreK-8 Catholic school educating over 500 students. There are 17 students in each of our three full day kindergarten classrooms and up to 26 students per classroom in grades 1-8. We have three preschool classrooms: 3 year old, 4 year old, and Young 5s. Each preschool classroom has an adult to child ratio of 1:10.
OLV has 35 highly qualified staff members, most of whom have a Masters Degree or beyond. These educators have over 400 combined years of experience in education with over 300 of those years specifically in Catholic schools.
OLV's original school was established in 1950 within the parish building. The current facility opened in 2006 with nineteen classrooms equipped with state of the art technology; a spacious gym; a warm and inviting cafeteria (with daily hot lunch options); a computer lab; a dedicated music room for music and band; a science lab; Media Center; three learning centers; an art room; a preschool/kindergarten activity area; and 2 outdoor play structures.
