School Closing Procedure

Our Lady of Victory school may be closed for a day, delayed in opening, or dismissed early when severe weather conditions are present, building issues arise or the power is out in the area. OLV will always follow Northville Public Schools in weather related closings.
All OLV School student families will be notified of such a closing via:

a Parent Alert text message and email

School Facebook page

The closing will also be communicated to radio stations WWJ 950 or WJR

and television stations Fox 2, WDIV-TV4, ABC, CBS and CW50 for listings of closing.
- OLV School will be announced as Our Lady of Victory-Northville (Wayne County).

Extracurricular Policies

Please note that when there is a school closing or early dismissal for severe weather conditions, a building problem or power outage, all after school/evening extracurricular and athletic activities are also cancelled.
Faith Formation will be cancelled if Our Lady of Victory School is cancelled. Should a deteriorating weather condition or an emergency arise during the school day, families will be notified directly by the the Faith Formation Office.
This does not pertain to the Parish or Church related activities and events. They will go on as scheduled unless otherwise notified through the myParish app, the OLV website and OLV Parish Facebook page.
