Our goal for the 2024 Summer Reading Program is to introduce your child to authors and stories that they will enjoy and make them want to go back for more!  All reading and assignments will be turned into their homeroom teacher on the first day of school, August 21, 2024.  A grade will be given for your work in Reading.

Your child may read more books from their own choosing.  We encourage all of our student to read all of the time. Studies show that children who read more will build a stronger vocabulary, have better scores in comprehension, and become better writers.  At OLV, we want our students to be the best that they can be!  

The Summer Reading and Summer Math are not optional; they are required of all students. If they are not completed, your child will start the year with a zero.
